Purpose of Position This position is responsible for managing the land-use planning unit, including long range planning and development approvals. Major Responsibilities: Formulate new policies and revise existing land use policies for development purposes. Responsible for the coordination and preparation of the municipal Official Plan and Secondary Plans. Manage the budgetary, human and physical resources for the Planning Unit in alignment with the Municipality of Lakeshores’ visions and values and in accordance with the annual Business Plan.
