Position Overview Responsible for the interpretation, analysis, evaluation and implementation of complex development applications and planning policies, and the preparation of detailed reports with recommendations to Council, both individually and in support of the Senior Planner; providing the public, other Municipal departments and Regional and Provincial authorities, information on both general planning matters and specific applications; attending various public meetings (Council, Committee of the Whole, Committee of Adjustment, public/neighborhood information meetings, Council-appointed Committees, Ontario Land Tribunal Hearings) to provide information, make presentations, and receive input into planning initiatives; implement the goals and objectives of Vaughan Vision.
