Job Summary Mississauga’s parks and forestry system is an integral part of the City, measured both by the wellbeing of residents and the strength of ecosystems. As the City of Mississauga intensifies, planning for, delivering parkland, and protecting City parkland assets becomes increasingly challenging and essential as we strive to create healthy complete communities.  The Park Planning team consists of both planners and landscape architects who work together to plan parks, expand the City’s parkland inventory, protect park assets; and comment on behalf of the Parks, Forestry and Environment Division on development applications, Environmental Assessments and realty matters from a parkland perspective.
