Responsibilities: Reporting to the Deputy Director of Planning and Development, the Planner I undertakes and assists in carrying out planning studies and research projects, processes a variety of planning applications, carries out data collection, maintenance, and analysis, provides planning information and advice to the public. Under the direction of the Deputy Director of Planning and Development, processes applications for Official Plan Amendments, Zoning By-law Amendments and/or Subdivision/Condominium with such applications having a level of complexity that is appropriate for the experience level of the Planner.
